Study how people use AI, from their own history.
Hansard Research is a study app built on Hansard. A participant counts their AI history on their own Mac, reviews the exact table, and sends only that file. It opens only in the study team's browser.
| Month | Active days | Conversations | Messages | Agent messages | Tokens | Remove |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025-10 | 14 | 38 | 212 | 96 | 1M–10M | Remove |
| 2025-11 | 17 | 45 | 260 | 143 | 1M–10M | Remove |
| 2025-12 | 9 | 22 | 118 | 40 | 100k–1M | Removed |
| 2026-01 | 21 | 61 | 402 | 238 | 10M–100M | Remove |
The file holds counts, not conversations.
It holds counts by calendar month and tool, token counts as ranges, and your survey answers, never message text, titles, or file names. A study that labels conversations asks separately and shows you every excerpt first.
What the study file containsIn the file
- Active days, conversations, and messages by month
- The same counts by month and tool
- Token counts as ranges, such as 1M to 10M
- The survey answers you give
Never in the file
- Message text, prompts, or replies
- Conversation titles, file names, or folder names
- Websites, emails, or account names
- Dates finer than a calendar month
Nothing leaves until you send it.
Remove any month, tool, or row, and every total updates. The app seals the file for the study's key, so the study server stores it without being able to read it. You can withdraw later.
